On the morning of September 2, the university held a special preparatory meeting for the China-Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Local Leaders' Meeting in Room 302 of the Mingde Building at the Changqing Campus. Jiang Huaping, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the university, attended and presided over the meeting.

Jiang Huaping emphasized that since the establishment of the China-CEEC cooperation mechanism, it has significantly promoted practical cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries in various fields, becoming a model for cross-regional collaboration. The hosting of the China-CEEC Local Leaders' Meeting holds great significance in promoting deeper exchange and cooperation between China and CEEC in areas such as shared educational resources, educational research and development, and the innovation of industry-education integration models. He stressed the need to use the meeting as an opportunity to enhance the internationalization of academic disciplines, expand exchanges and cooperation with universities, research institutes, and enterprises in CEEC, and attract talent and resources by leveraging international cooperation. He called for the specialized task force and relevant departments to fulfill their respective duties, work closely together, and actively promote all aspects of the preparatory work to ensure the smooth success of the meeting.

At the meeting, the task force and relevant department leaders discussed the division of responsibilities for the preparation and organization of the event.

Leaders from the Party Committee Office (University Office), Publicity Department, International Cooperation and Exchange Office (Office of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau Affairs), Safety Management Office, Industry-Education Integration Office, Information Technology Construction and Management Center, and Weihai Campus Management Office attended the meeting.
